    Klimley Appointed Editor of the Diversity Factor, a Prominent e-Journal in the Field of Diversity and Cultural Inclusion

Klimley as editor of the Diversity Factor, an e-journal devoted to providing unique perspectives and in-depth information on diversity to a wide audience. April took over the position on April 14, from Wendy Conklin, outgoing editor who has led the journal for the past 8 years. Founded in 1992, The Diversity Factor has a strong track record of bringing valuable information on a wide variety of diversity subjects to readers.   Red Bank, NJ Feb 1 - Visions magazine was selected for the 2006 Best Magazine award from the Indiana Society of Association Executives (ISAE). The magazine is edited by April Klimley at Klimley Communications and published quarterly by The Product Development & Management Association (PDMA). The magazine has been dedicated to keeping product development professionals on top of the latest practices in the field for over 20 years. Klimley has been editor for six years.

Robin Karol, CEO of PDMA, noted in a press release that "Visions magazine plays a very important role in disseminating this information and encouraging debate and a lively exchange of thinking in the field."

In the last few years, Klimley has strengthened the magazine’s news and trend coverage in order to become position it as one of the leading industry publications in new product development and innovation. Under her leadership, the publication has won a 2005 APEX Award for the creation of the online Visions alert and a 2003 ACE Award as "Most Improved Magazine" from the New York Chapters of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Klimley in the May 2006 issue of the Harvard Business Review provides an up-to-the minute overview of what’s happening in the fast-moving field of biotechnology. The section marks the expansion of the firm into more in-depth coverage of the fields of biotechnology and life sciences. Over the past 18 months, the firm has been involved in the creation of a life sciences beat for Visions magazine; the articles published under that umbrella have included cover stories on Affymetrix, the genomics company, and Abbott Laboratories.

  RED BANK, N.J., February 15, 2005 - Klimley Communications has relocated from Manhattan to larger offices in central New Jersey. Our new offices, located in the town of Red Bank, provide expanded services for our clients such as faster high-speed Internet access and upgraded database technology.   NEW YORK, April 7 - Klimley Communications (KC) received national certification as a woman-owned business from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) March 12, the firm announced today.

"This certification is an important complement to our credentials," commented April Klimley, President of Klimley Communications. "It will make it easier for organizations to include us when they are looking for top-notch women-owned communications firms."

  Klimley Communications won an 2003 ACE Award in October for "most improved" publication for transforming Visions from an in-house member newsletter to well respected industry trade magazine over the past two years. The magazine is published by PDMA, the leading organization of new product development professionals. Ms. Klimley has been editor since April, 2001.
