April Klimley is a successful author, writer and editor. Over the years she has helped clients improve and edit both articles and books. She founded Klimley Communications in the late 1980s after a successful career as a foreign correspondent and corporate executive in financial public relations in New York City. In that city, she handled media relations for Citibank and Adams and Rinehart (a PR firm) before becoming vice president of worldwide communications for Chemical Bank, the first woman to run the communications function at a money center bank. As a freelance writer, April has served a wide variety of clients helping them shape and write effective communications vehicles both in print and digital format.
